I've always wanted to have my own paint brushes made to my specs and preferences ... and here they are!
These are the 4 sizes that I use the most often when painting and I had them custom made just right. I had the bristles made slightly longer on the 1/2" wash brush than is standard and I also gave it a nice, long ferrule because sometimes I like to hold the brush in that area (like in my gif in the images). I had the tips dipped - it makes no difference when painting, obviously, but it just happens to be my aesthetics to have the tips dipped. I chose a shiny silver Ferrule, double crimp, my favorite blue for the handles in a smooth finish and copper-colored bristles with a short handle.
I tend to blow through paint brushes since I'm painting 8-10 hours each day, 6-7 days a week. So, I wanted a paint brush that could keep up with me without having to be tossed in the recycle bin after a few weeks. When I received my first samples, I tested them rigorously ... months later, I'm still using the test brushes! They hold up. They keep their shape. They don't lose bristles with every other stroke.
I'm really happy to offer these to artists who, like me, like a really good brush they can use again and again.
PLUS - very important to me as an artist - I want a brush that doesn't break the bank.
You can purchase them individually or grab my starter set that includes all 4 sizes plus a brush roll made of canvas with plenty of room to add more brushes later, including some of your longer handle brushes.
I love these brushes so much that I've already made plans to introduce more in the coming months.
I can't wait to see what you create with these brushes!
