Working Samples & Practice Runs

These tiki mugs were completely hand made by Rob for a previous Quarterly Surprise Box. First, he sculpted the designs, then he painted, glazed and fired them using his dad’s kiln.

The finished and finalized product was sent to Patrons. 

These listed here are the first test ones he did or extras we chose not to ship with the boxes. Some have different colors, some are glazed lighter or darker, some are painted in, some have inside painted and others don’t. Some turned out less than perfect with the clay not forming perfectly.

These are certainly imperfect as it was Rob’s first attempt to sculpt, paint, glaze and fire tiki mugs.
